Her responsibilities include supporting and guiding staff, coordinating medical services, promoting compliance with health and safety standards, and maintaining open communication with families regarding their loved ones’ care. What I love about my job is being able to interact and connect with the residents
My name is Anthony Pittman, and I am the Life Enrichment Coordinator of Somerset Court of Rocky Mount. Recently promoted a couple months ago and before that I was a Med-Tech (SIC) and PCA. What I love about my job is being able to interact and connect with the residents. My grandfather was a resident here, and I started out coming to sing for him and other residents; after that my career with the company took off from there. Outside of that I’ve helped take care of other family members and private duty clients throughout the years. I bring Light and Positivity within my heart, and I believe that helps the residents have a good day. Having a connection to not only what you do but the people you do it for is what makes for a great facility like ours here at Somerset

April Williams serves as the Dietary Manager at Somerset Court of Rocky Mount, where she is dedicated to ensuring residents enjoy nutritious, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared meals each day. She oversees daily dietary and kitchen operations, coordinates meal planning and food preparation, and works closely with her team to maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, quality, and service. April helps accommodate residents’ individual nutritional needs and dietary restrictions while listening to their food preferences and working alongside the care team to support their overall well-being. She believes mealtime is about more than just food; it is an opportunity for fellowship, comfort, and connection. Through her dedication, attention to detail, and commitment to resident satisfaction, April strives to create a welcoming dining experience where every resident feels cared for, respected, and at home.
